Spirit is non-physical awareness and empowerment that bonds, informs and encourages.
LISN defines the concept of ‘Spirit’ broadly;
LISN ‘spirit’ can be found in heart-led relationship, loving-kindness, and compassion.
Spirit holds an intention for health, betterment, growth and creativity.
“It is something within us that doesn’t let us sleep,that doesn’t let us rest,
that won’t stop pounding
it is the silent, warm weeping
of Indian women without their husbands,
it is the sad gaze of children
fixed somewhere beyond memory…”
Spirit in a psychological sense is sometimes used to refer to the impersonal, universal or higher component of human nature in contrast to soul or psyche which can refer to the ego or lower vibration. Oswald Spengler calls this “the heavenly component of human’s non material makeup – the part that is impersonal or universal.”
The ‘Everyday Ego’ is a more worldly aspect of self that governs our habitual thoughts, feelings, speech and behavior.
“Spirit is right where you are.
Spirit fills all space, flows through all form, creates everything, governs everything through love, controls everything through Law, expresses life and beauty in everything.”
