Ontology is looking at the nature of being and reality, especially cause, inter-relationships or identity. A common usage of ‘Ontology’ is for example in health, where all diseases can be classified, but have multiple inter-relationships with overall human health, and each other.
(1)Being punished for an offense or fault, (2) a penalty inflicted for a mistake, or (3) severe handling or treatment. A practice based on the unsubstantiated belief that the fear of pain or torture or death etc will positively change someone else’s behavior.
